New VLC player supports Windows Media 9

VLC 0.8.6 was released today. Among the prominent features are support for Windows Media Video 9 and Flash Video. The newly improved playlist now supports Audioscrobbler and last.fm Other important changes are improved H.264 support and fullscreen controller.

Update - Dec 20, 2006 Fullscreen controls are only available on Mac OSX. :(
