Google Talk lags in worldwide IM metrics

comScore Media did a survey on the number of unique connections to the various IM servers and Google Talk ranked lower among the popular IM services like AIM, Yahoo! and MSN. Google Talk was ranked lower than E-Messenger.Net and Paltalk. It should be noted that this survey was conducted in the month of May. MSN messenger was on top of the pack with 203,902 unique visitors (a 9% increase from last year).

The stats that got to me most was that Rediff Bol Instant Messenger was listed in this chart (2,647) above Trillian. Now that MSN messenger and Yahoo! messenger users can see each other on their network it will be interesting on how they perform next year.
